Thailand is considering shipping rice to Haiti rather than going through the World Food programme. Foreign Minister Mr Kasit yesterday said sending the rice by air through the WFP would cost US$10 million (330 million baht), so the government was looking at sending it by ship. Thailand will donate 20,000 tonnes of rice. It has also given $100,000 in humanitarian aid to help the quake-hit country. The money was handed over by Thai diplomats in Mexico City to the Haitian ambassador to Mexico, the minister said.

OUR PRODUCTS

OUR CAPACITY
Ten rice mills with a total capacity of 3,700 tons a day. One recleaning-packing mill by the Chao Praya river allows us to load both vessels and containers. Loading capacity is 1,000 tons a day.

Our main office is in China town of Bangkok, close to government and rice organizations. We have many rice samples from all over Thailand. Our office is a daily meeting place for the rice trade and easy to reach.
